Meet your hosts

Ten years of Los Angeles keys, kept personally.

Henry came to Los Angeles from Edinburgh, trading granite tenements for stucco and sun, and keeping the Scottish conviction that a guest is something you take personally. He started hosting in 2016 with one Glendale apartment; that same year Airbnb made him a Superhost, and the badge has never lapsed since.

What shapes every residence is what shapes Henry off the clock: interior design, art, and cinema. Rooms are composed like frames, a place for the light to land, one good picture per wall, furniture he would choose for his own house. Nothing is staged for photographs that disappoints in person.

Mark co-hosts every stay. Between the two of them, a question is answered within 24 hours and usually much sooner, before you book, while you are here, and after you have left something in a nightstand drawer.

How we keep house.

The rooms

Every residence is furnished by Henry, not a staging company. If a chair is not comfortable for a two-hour film, it does not stay.

The welcome

Self check-in when you want to slip in quietly; a real person a text away when you do not. Directions come from someone who has driven them.

The standard

One cleaning crew, one checklist, every home. Henry or Mark walks every residence between stays, ten years in, still personally.
